Your money can and should be spent on helping war victims instead of this cashgrab. You didnt understand the game if you disagree.

Norman fetus cries and pisses alot. Just delivered a shipment of sperm to pork nut city while chucking piss grenades at ghosts made of crude oil. 10/10 would work for Amazon again.

One of the best "dad simulators" out there. Top notch. I once saw my dad spend 40 hours trying to connect our internet in the 90's while taking care of his 5 children. Same vibe here.

I Love The Norman Reedus Walking Simulator. Ever Since I Began Playing The Norman Reedus Walking Simulator My Life Has Improved. This Is The One Game That Will Get Me Through Any Crisis In My Life. The Norman Reedus Walking Simulator Allows You To Be A Cyberpunk Delivery Boy While You Fight Aliens And Terrorists. The Open World Is So Good Especially When That Band That Sounds Like Sigur Ros Starts Playing And I'm Like "Wow, The Norman Reedus Walking Simulator Is A Really Good Game." I Highly Recommend The Norman Reedus Walking Simulator If You Like Video Games.

the only "cut" thing here is how they cut the monster energy drink (a vital part to truly grasp the deep philosophical themes and messages in the game) and replaced it with a made-up brand

it's a game about how our parents went to school back then.

Coolest FedEx sim ever. You play as a very serious postman delivering packages across a haunted hiking trail while dodging invisible tar ghosts and juggling a baby in a jar. It’s like Amazon Prime, but with existential dread and way too much rain. You also throw grenades made from your own piss and sh*t at goo ghosts so that they don't drag you to the dimension of the dead and break your cargo that you're trying to deliver to Conan O'Brien. Oh and the rain makes you old. If you enjoy delivery boy missions in games and complicated lore, it's for you. It’s like watching a long movie. And I love movies. It’s a unique, beautiful experiences that somehow makes you feel more... human. It's about the journey and the friends (connections) we made along the way (seriously). It's the most beautiful game I've ever played. Well, like any story there's what happens, and there's what it's about. Death Stranding is an action adventure game about being a mailman. Basically you play as a mailman in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi setting where civilization fell due to the connection between the world of the living and the world of the dead, which brought with it new forms of matter and spectral creatures that cause atomic explosions at the slightest contact with living beings. To reach your destination you have to plan your route and the equipment you will carry to overcome the obstacles and dangers along the way, as you progress unlock many new tools of all kinds to optimize your deliveries and there is also an asynchronous multiplayer feature where you can collaborate with other players through shared buildings, signaling dangers and points of interest, material donations and other indirect interactions. Now what I just described is pretty accurate but is also just a description of the gameplay and functional elements of Death Stranding, which is only half of what Death Stranding is. And that is the brilliance of Kojima. Yes Death stranding is all those crazy things I described but it is also more. The story, lore and meanings behind the characters and its motifs combined with what gameplay functionality exists to support those different parts is what Death Stranding is. As to a rounder and more fuller description of what Death Stranding actually is with all of those elements is... well, that's the trick. To me and many others who have played this game, it just is. It's an experience like no other that mixes themes of love and loss, loneliness and isolation. It fuses theories of quantum mechanics with postulations of the afterlife. It's big and small but never insignificant or overblown. It's a game best experienced by just going with it. To look at it through another lens I’d say it’s about connection. Using deliveries as your compass, you go about to the various stranded people and bring them back to something resembling a society. Opposite to this, the monsters you fight are connected to your world and you disconnect them to remove them. The connection aspect works with other players too, through various structures and materials that get shared to their worlds. I love how it works on multiple levels. It's a post-apocalyptic story about human endurance in the face of tragedy and loss, and choosing to value human bonds despite the inevitable pain that comes with losing them. An allegory for the Internet, in particular the smartphone, and how connection to others is a double-edged sword. Honestly though, I’m being coy so as not spoil the game/story with this review. This game has given more jump scares than a lot or games I can recall and I think it’s an absolute masterpiece. I would say that is definitely worth the money. If you’re familiar with Kojima and his work, it’s about Kojimas feelings on the rise of social media and fatherhood in the internet age. Obviously the story is the real highlight, it’s packed with emotions and makes you feel deeply connected to the characters and their struggles. You really need to play it to understand how powerful it is. Good luck, and keep on keeping on! 10/10

A lot of people like to call games like this "walking simulators". A lot of people like to buy Call of Duty every year.

It's been almost two years now. While some things have changed since then, I no longer work at UPS, Monster energy is no longer my drink of choice, and the great disaster of our time is beginning to wind down, I still feel compelled to continue delivering packages, at least virtually. Thank you Kojima for allowing me to continue doing this P.S. Thank you to all the people for the best wishes on my original review, it really means a lot to me
