If i were to compare the narration and the voice acting, i'd say that the female voice actress did a great job than the male one but overall it was fine. It's dramatic,poetic and all that hullabaloo was there to make it intense but because it's short it failed to give out what i really wanted to feel. The art was dark.. I'd defend it saying that it was made that way to give out that depressing creepy atmosphere.
The game mechanics are what you percieve in a normal HOG game, creepy atmosphere but not creepy enough. The paintings terrified me and I was away from them most of the time. It needed more interaction with items,combining them and using them. Would have been good if i could have gotten out of the cabin or at least a secret trap door, but then yeah the plot required it to be that way so no complains there.
I'm already used to the esc key booting you out of the game instead of making you go to the title because of PCSX2 so no rage there.
Oh and the best plot twist ever and should play it again tonight.

If the thought of watching David Schwimmer wander aimlessly around a one room cabin picking up the same dozen or so objects and talking about his sex life sounds appealing to you, or perhaps if you're completely unfamiliar with the concept of a twist ending, then you may very well enjoy this game. My mother said to me- 'Don't ever smoke. Please don't put your family through what your Grandfather put us through." I agreed. At 28, I have never touched a cigarette. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because this game gave me cancer anyway.

There is no room for grotesque puzzles, as well as room for tabs for system settings, inventory, and a bunch of auxiliary entries. There is only a distant, secluded hut in the woods, and the history lurking in it.
The story is told by a nameless man who is sitting at a table waiting for his wife. As you explore the hut, the events that took place far from everyone begin to unfold. The emotional effect of the events taking place in the house is perfectly conveyed through the well-done work of the actor who gave his voice to the hero of this story. And you have to listen a lot here. Finding interior items with which you can interact will not be difficult, but understanding the comments pronounced after actions with them will put people who do not own
English as there is no support for other foreign dialects, including Russian.
According to the time duration, Serena will take no more than an hour (from 40-60 minutes). The authors immediately hint to us that, like any story, it is better to read it at a time, without leaving or being distracted: at the first start, everyone automatically presses the "ESC" button in search of settings (I mentioned that there is no place for them here ?), which leads to an instant exit to the desktop.
Should I recommend Seren to everyone? No, not worth it. It can only be recommended to those who want to relax and escape from exhausting everyday life, and spend time in a quiet and calm atmosphere, the same as reading any good book.
