game is an ridiculous unfair rogue like dungeon run with 100 RNG layers slapped on, there are 50 different gems in pool, every time you pick up a chest there's 3 gems of choice (4 if you are super lucky and get the earring). To max upgrade one gem to Lv3 you need 9 Lv1 gems, the chance you get what you want doesn't exist. You have no control over your party, you are forced to use whatever the game generated, you can't build your team, you can't build your gem set, the amount of carat (money to purchase gem) you gain is minimal, you can't do shit in this game other than control the main character running around the dungeon and click the gem bar in battle, you can't do shit. It's not fun. there's also gem rarity which the highest rarity is legendary with super low shop spawn rate like 7% with everything maxed included x2 legendary spawn accessory, combine this with the gem pool you'll see the big flaw of this garbage designed game. The post game dungeons are pure stinky hot garbage, enemies get way too much stronger while you have no new mechanics to support you in building your team, you are throw in an endless RNG boot lick fest, if your RNG sucks and you don't have more than 3 Lv3 LEGENDARY gems in your party, good luck clearing those dungeons, the dev clearly didn't test their game

Vivid World is very much its own breed of game. It plays like a deck building roguelike such as Slay the Spire, but focuses less on individual cards and more on juggling resources and number crunching. Which sounds dull but then it has characters with killer designs that are the vehicle for this nerd nonsense. It's incredibly satisfying to hit the end of a dungeon and fight the last boss as a flurry of buffs and skill icons pop up and see the work you put into the run bloom. Or, you know, if you don't make it, there's rewards for the effort you put in and you very likely learned something that'll carry over into the next run. If you played the predecessor Vivid Knight, you'll be delighted by everything it added that is new and I can't recommend it enough.

There's no better feeling than hitting 4 cornucopia at 750 carats. 10/10

Instantly fell in love with the artwork as soon as I saw it in the steam shop. felt iffy about how it looked movement and combat wise but instantly liked it when playing, if you're familiar with.. Auto-Chess, it's a bit like that but prettier and there's story... and meta-progression.. and co-op.. I wanted to leave a review earlier but decided to play more first to make sure i get the feel across, and well, 6 more hours later.. I still love it, it can be quite difficult, but it's fun to learn what does what and try build up a team that can help carry you through to the end! Overall, Love it, the animations are gorgeous, the characters are Amazingly designed aswell as the combat motions (I really want art by whoever did all this please I BEG it'd make my life and stream AMAZING) #pandering x'DD seriously though, if you like rogue-likes, cool aesthetics, amazing artwork, and some challenge.. this is definitely the game for you.

As much as I enjoy the art, animation, voice acting and the idea of the game, I cannot recommend it unless you either know Japanese or do not care about the gameplay. In both German and English, pretty much every ability and effect description is either omitting information, confusingly worded or outright wrong. And since both translations have the same systematic errors, I doubt the other non-Japanese languages fare much better.
