I think this game is meant as a demo if anything. Dont get me wrong its very fun to see high numbers but I got all the achievments and got all the unlocks within 3 hours. I dont consider myself a particularly good gamer to do that. I just feel like at its current state it doesnt provide much content or replayability. I was hoping something like balatro but it fell very short. I do hope the game succeeds cause its a fun idea but as of now I find it lacking. Also my pc depsite being able to run games like Resident evil 4 on the highest graphics cant even get above 60 fps in this game. So overall the optimization is bad and the replayability sadly not there. I do hope it gets better...

I accidentally gained 100% achievements in this game in about 2 hours. I didn't unlock all the upgrades yet, but beat the end boss anyway in a strong run that took me from the middle of the game right to the end.
I don't regret playing this game, but I am disappointed about the shortness.
It plays like a really really awesome demo for a game that feels super haptic and polished. But now, let me buy the full game please

This is my opinion after nearly 5 hours of gameplay
Game is fun/ initially, until you realize half the builds are boring and that your eventually left without being able to upgrade yourself bcuz u have all the upgrades and then the fianl boss ends up killing you just bcuz u haven't grinded the game enough to get ur inn game lkevels but there isnt enough content to even want to do that
Very repetitive mainly bcuz ur forced into ignoring half the items each run due to the slot machine where every roll counts and you cant afford not to roll ur best items.
Game needs Rng on what items you get for each run, should be able to have more than $100, should get interest for saving your money, should be able to do more things with the money .
To keep it short
- Game is fun just no replay value for a roguelike type game
- Grind is boring
+ Love the sound and the art
- store after each round
Needs more rng and to take away some available choices that force the min/max gameplay
+ Variety of builds
- Most builds are not good

Good roguelite games allow success in early runs, while unlocking additional items to increase replayability with varying strategies. This game's roguelite aspect is you get to upgrade your beginning stats for future runs. Not really possible to see success on early runs because of it. Not interested in losing 10 runs to grind enough money to have a successful run later.

Immaculate design, great sound.
It’s just… not fun. At all. There are very little ways to feel you are applying skill to the game, and a brief experimentation of different combos felt dull. I felt no connection to the (nicely drawn) enemies. It could have been faceless bots I was attacking one after the other. During “combat”, there is no way to adjust strategy. Between combats, there are very limited ways.
Wish this game had worked for me! Just too much rng

Presentation is great, sound is great, the Idea is generally cool.
It comes with a few major problems:
1.) The gambling through slot machine gameplay doesnt work well, because its not plannable or influential enough.
You can try to line up by pressing stop at the right time, but it still ends up to be too much of a gamble to call it skill.
Because of it not needing skill but being random/luck based, the entire gameplay consists of pressing a button and creating your "build" out of a too narrow selection of items/symbols.
Picking new symbols is rarely a good idea, because why would you add another weapon lvl 1 decreasing your chance to hit your existing lvl 3 weapon?
I asked that myself a lot while playing and came to the conclusion that the game has a design problem OR lacks complexity to provide valuable effects.
Theres also no combos or dependencies, no chain effects or anything going on, supporting the use of symbol combinations.
Some sort of combo sets that you can get would have added a lot of depth.
Like hitting with 3 different types of daggers causes another roll or shield and hammer causes Shield Bash which adds the armor to your damage and stuns.
2.) The main problem through all of that, is the content is not there.
In my less than 2 hours (112 minutes) i unlocked nearly all items (only 3 more to go) and got to the final level (failed it sadly).
That means i am about 20 minutes short to finish the game in its entirety.
I could run endless mode, but honestly, the gameplay isnt complex enough to entertain you for that.
Theres not enough items and mechanics present in the game, that would warrant experimenting with different builds.
Weapons arent that different, but overall the system has several issues that causes a lack of variation or "point".
3.) Games systems limit variety and reason.
Theres a few different weapons, but frankly they arent really different.
The weapons lack uniqueness to set them off of others and so it doesnt really matter what you pick.
Ok that one weapon does lifesteal, that one causes poison, the other can stun the enemy, the other deals damage and magic damage.
Sounds different on paper, but in reality isnt worth much of a thought when it comes to the gameplay.
You will end up picking the poison dagger because not only does poison go through enemy armor, its also dealing far more reliable damage than any other weapon.
"But lifesteal sounds so strong", but isnt.
Because lifesteal doesnt do much when you are dead in one hit.
This will only get worse even with more health and armor.
Armor has a max amount of 100, so its pointless to stack more armor anyway.
Even worse, the lifesteal isnt good enough anyway to keep you alive.
All of this gets undermined by a meta progression ability, that automatically heals you after every round (HP regeneration), which is fast to level up and heals you significantly enough, that it overshadows any lifesteal you can do.
Stun Hammer sounds good on paper, but the stun rarely happens and is an overall not interesting effect anyway.
Even when critical striking, you stun the enemy for one action at max and i had fights that went for over 6 rounds with several times hitting the enemy but not stunning even once.
The rest of the cast is just different damage numbers.
The benefit between magic and physical damage feels insignificant to even make a that difference of adding two damage types.
Like, i get it, magic ignores armor.
But enemies rarely come with armor.
In general poison outclasses any other effect and damage.
I dont understand why magic spells like "fireball" exist, when you cant set enemies on fire.
The passive perks have the same issue.
You will find only: get lifesteal (as mentioned an irrelevant perk), increase damage, increase max life.
The game doesnt provide interesting perks that change rules, like "lifesteal adds armor" or "hitting critical gives you another reroll".
There occasionally are some minor effects like this, but very rarely, less significant and less interesting.
The game is too less game, offers too less content and isnt designed well enough.
Its minimalistic in every way and catches the hype of other recent slot machine/luck based games.
Minimalistic however, isnt a good thing here.
I recommend ignoring this title and instead of paying a bit less and get less, rather pay a bit more and pick something like Clover Pit and get a far better and more fleshed out game.
Hate to say it, but thats what it is. Or get Dungeon Clawler, Ballionaire or Dicemancer, maybe Dicealot.
This feels like a budget version.
The only thing that is good here is the presentation. It has a great style.
Yet it needed at least a full year of development to add more complexity and content.
Im sorry, i dont feel it here.

What attracted me was the appearance and the proposal, but the fact that I have no idea when I will receive an item is very disappointing. The wheel spins too fast to know whether you'll get the item you want or not, and it's almost random. If it's going to be random every time, what's the point of receiving a bunch of items? That'll just increase the likelihood of receiving something I don't want. If only there was something that would let me know what I could receive, at least. But the roulette wheel doesn't even give me time to see that. For the game to be 100% good, all it needed was clearer feedback on the roulette wheel. But if you like games where 60% is based on luck, you'll like this game. By the way, the art and music are incredible, as is the concept.
But the feedback didn't allow it to go beyond that.

im trying hard to like it. but whats the point if i have 3 items, 2 slots, but 5 spins later and i still havent seen 1 of those 3 said items. wtf kinda "random" is that. i hate it when luck based games aren't really about luck when the algorithm/program is designed to not give you what you need based on the opponent/items in hand. idk. i found this game infuriating as it felt like scratch card games where they design it to keep you hooked but never to win. waaaaaayyyyy too much grinding just to give yourself a fair chance. gonna wait for more updates that make it more fair/balanced

I have a a NICE time playing so far and unlocked everything possible even found the ultimate build. I can't wait to see what the Dev has in store for the future of this game hopefully more / alternate levels and more items.
Yes the game is short but for £5 you can't argue about that. If I was to be picky it becomes very easy once you have unlocked everything.
The Arena is a nice touch to keep you coming back and trying to beat your own high score I just wish I had something to spend the 5000+ Chips on that I have.

I bought the game as soon as it was released and I already have 11 hours of playtime. I want to make it clear that this message is purely explanatory, I have absolutely no hostility.
I think the game isn’t worth its price because it lacks depth. There’s only one viable build for the arena: the bow, the x2, and the hammer that gives % damage during the turn. I reached 26,551,448 damage in about 3 hours, but I stopped because it no longer made sense. I could never die due to the stun effect, and my damage scaling had become extremely slow, but I could have kept going for another 24 hours without ever dying.

This is a good game, but there is russian in it, and there's no Ukrainian language that's bad thing in 2025 actually.
