it's like The Ascent, but it's half the price and has better music
Pros: #1. Most maps have an easy/hard/nightmare setting so you can grind previous levels (even boss fights) on harder difficulty to get better loot if you want #2. The music is very good, like almost as good as Cyberpunk2077's music #3. Weapon/armour customization is pretty good because you can modify it with 'cards' (unfortunately right now you can't modify the perks on an item) Cons: #1. There's many bugs in the game right now, and some of them soft-lock your game so you have to restart the game. #2. The game has puzzles on many maps, which I'm not a fan of. It brings the pacing of the game way down to a crawl #3. You get pulled out of a mission after 10 seconds when it's completed, and this has resulted in me losing loot and not being able to finish breaking chests on the map multiple times #4. The game repeatedly locks you into a small area, during a battle... it's like the boss battle arenas in Borderlands 2, where you're forcibly placed in a small area with very little freedom to move, and this game does it with 80%+ of battles, and it results in the game battles feeling extremely claustrophobic and limited in freedom #5. Invaders (mini-bosses) in the game are literally unkillable as a solo player, and they kill you in less than 5seconds, so Invaders need to be hella-nerfed for solo players. #6. You can't use two (or three) of the same skills at once. I would like to play with 3 auto-turret skills at once, but the game doesn't allow you to do that. #7. The game is for sale in countries that commit crimes against humanity, like Izrael and Ruzzia. These devs are russian, but that doesn't make their responsibility to do the right thing any less important... in fact, nazis during the 1930s were praised for standing up for humanity and this is EXACTLY the same. In summation: These guys have done many mediocre games before and abandoned some of them too https://store.steampowered.com/search/?developer=IO%20Games so time will tell if they do the same here. But anyway, the devs just need to fix the bugs, add more modifications to weapons/armour (maybe something like being able to add attachments to guns?) and hopefully also implement an experience system. If the devs want to find inspiration then I'd recommend that they play Cygnus Enterprises to find some inspiration (it's removed from steam but you can find it on the high seas) or The Ascent Here's my first impressions review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1ToEJzmkmM For more reviews, visit my curator page: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/7851637/ For my full recommended list of games: https://steamcommunity.com/id/lfpg/recommended/4 votes funny

This isn't early access?! Then this is one of the most janky full release games I have played in a while. Played 2 missions and ran into too many bugs to count. I nearly had to restart the second mission because the quest marker update just broke mid-mission. This one needed more time in early access. But the devs chose to shovel it out too early it seems.

Fun. A little simple, but there is enough weapon, armor, and skill variety to make a good number of builds. The main story is pretty short, but it has extra difficulties that add additional mechanics to fights, so there is a long tailed endgame there for those who want it.
Biggest complaint is that, even after the 'buffs', crafting and general prices of items are pretty ridiculous. When I reached the 'end' of the game, it would take almost half my total money to upgrade an item by 1/2 levels. 'Targeting' one item to increase its drop rates takes well over half my total money. And this is after I hadn't bought ANYTHING the entire run from the shop, and had done barely any crafting stuff outside of that. Its just... Too much, at least in my opinion.

"CyberCorp" is an...mix between "The Division" and a bit of "Warframe" and...perhaps a bit of "Borderlands"? Somethling like that.
So...you are an remote operator of an humanoid combat drone, working for a secret agency and trying to stop the bad guys. There are hundreds of weapons (that can be further improved with "cards" bearing different buffs), armor parts, skills and thousands of possible combos between them.
Oh, and a lot of enemies trying to kill you. So enjoy the action and if you wish - bring up to 3 friends for even more chaos and explosions. Or not, if you are like me - with no friends to play with :)
The game is good, and even if it's not exactly my cup of tea, i can easily recommend it.

Haven't played for too long but here's what I can tell so far:
-This is a looter shooter rpg. If managing character builds is your thing, there's plenty to go around.
-Does not play with typical mouse click instead with directional imput and mouse aiming.
-Plays really well with a controller.
-Mission progression instead of an open map makes the game playable in short sessions if so chosen.
-Option to choose higher difficulties for better rewards.
-Loot rarity.
-AFAI can tel, there's a vast end game with gear targeting to perfect builds.
-the best part for me is the gameplay. Instead of the more typical twin stick bullet hell, here there's the need to be more tactical with positioning, when to dodge, the best time to use skills, melee and weapon switching. Speaking of, there's a nice variety of different weapons for each type and they all feel nice to use.
The story is nothing to call home about so far but who cares? The game feels like a good time sinker wether in long or shorter sessions. Recommended to anyone who enjoys games with the criteria above. And oh boy, it's not another roguelike!!

You are basically a cop who operates a robot remotely to beat up punks in the flesh and some robots. The game has elements of f2p in that you get daily rewards and daily missions but the game doesn't have any microtransactions so its basically the good of f2p without the bad.
You have different armor sets and different weapon sets that are more suitable for a certain type of build but drops are randomized so you may need to frankenstein your build until higher levels where you have different sets at different levels. The game has a pity system for "red" (highest tier) gear and you can also spend in game currency to force some drops.
The narrative has some banter between your boss and yourself as well as enemy bosses. It's a bit like action movie dialogue and it gets the job done. There is an ingame lore reason why you can respawn during missions (you transfer to another robot body) but there isn't one why you'd be repeating the same mission for better loot.
Soundwise you have cyberpunk themed music and some sound effects which don't particularly stand out.
The game has co op but I haven't tried yet. Some skills and levels are more suitable for co op play.

Text and audio reads and sounds like it's either AI generated or from a source that was never checked for grammar, spelling or realism. Bugs and general gameplay issues I can totally understand and forgive from an EA title, but being lazy when it comes to what the characters say, and leaving in blatant spelling and grammar issues? Come on already. Spend less time advertising on Twitter and more time working on the quality of your game.

In short, yes the game has some bugs.
Are they game breaking, no!
Welcome to early access.
I played through the game so far solo and have been having a blast playing.
Has potential to be an awesome Twin Stick Looter Shooter.
The gear is vast, the weapon variations feel good.
Skills and gun play can be maximised through gear setups.
Devs are very involved on their discord with determining what is causing bugs and what people would like to see in the future.
Definitely Recommend.

2 Minute Video Review:
https://youtu.be/sVugwCOW4X0
If you prefer a written version, here's a modified version of my script:
In this cyberpunk world, the company CyberCorp has developed a new technology that allows agents to control mechs through a neurolink in order to perform dangerous missions, you’re one of these agents so it’s your job to fuck with everyone from the comfort of your own home, so you know, it’s just like any other Twitter user.
The gameplay is what you would expect from a top down twin stick shooter, you have a set goal per mission and you use a variety of ranged and melee weapons as well as some skills to kill a bunch of innocent people and complete whatever goal you have. There’s plenty of different armaments to choose from like shotguns, rifles or energy based weapons, and there’s also a decent amount of skills to equip that vary greatly like a stationary turret or a healing circle.
After you complete your mission and gather your sweet sweet loot, you’re of course given a score based on your flawless performance as well as some money. Now back at your home you can do a bunch of different things, you can swap your equipment taking into consideration not only the stats, but also the perks and specific buffs they have. You can sell whatever you’re not using or buy more stuff. You can even chill by your balcony or watch some TV!
Of course you can also select your next mission, not only are there story missions to complete with an actual narrative, but there are also side missions with different objectives like surviving waves of enemies, defeating a mini boss or defending a specific point.
And that’s Cybercorp! I really like how the game looks, the cyberpunk world is really well done and the gameplay is pretty solid, nothing that will blow you away but definitely enjoyable. The best part is that you can play with up to two friends!
The worst part is probably the narrative, the story beats are not very interesting and the characters are not great, at least so far.
Oh and this game is currently in early access, and you can definitely tell it needs some polishing, but even with that in mind I think there’s some good stuff here and hopefully it gets even better.

TLDR:- A fun looter shooter, with a lot of customisation, made by a small & active dev team. Worth full price. Good enough for ~20 hours, but it offers more if you want an end-game grind to perfect your build.
- The game is broken up into main misssions, with some randomised side missions and boss fights made available as you progress through the game; all missions can be repeated to grind for resources and specific loot. Missions can also have random modifiers to change up every mission run slightly.
- Story bits are peppered into in the main missions, in between missions, and in the home base, overall it's very light but serviceable.
- The visuals may not seem flashy and high-fidelity, but the colour-palette and art-style fit the cyber-punk aesthetic.
- The music is decent, guns sound punchy and impactful; I didn't find the sound lacking in any way.
- The game plays well with a controller, but the menu UI could be a bit more distinct and clear.
- Some maps on randomised side missions might be repeated, but the enemy is varied and the missions are over quickly enough to not be an issue.
- You can increase the difficulty in all missions for more rewards, and also increase specific loot drop chance (by paying standard currency).
- There are a lot of skills and gear to choose from, and the guns in each category feel varied enough.
- Transmog exists, and you can freely change the appearance and colour of your armour and even your guns.
- There is good build variety with all the equipment, skills and unique effects of rare gear. You can modify armour/weapons with buffs and effects and it has a small cost, though I wish it was free, to allow easy and convnenient build-crafting.
- The end-game is grindy because higher level skill card upgrades require a lot of resources, and you'll want to be chasing specific gear and skill card drops to round out your build.
- The devs seem to listen to feedback and add and change some things. The game is also updated frequently for an indie title. It's fully released and still receiving updates, so kudos to the dev team.
I bought the game at a -20% discount, but I had enough fun that I would've been fine paying full price. It may seem a bit janky at first, but it's entertaining once you get into it, and for this price you shouldn't expect AAA levels of polish. If you're intrigued by the game, you should definitely give it a try, just remember to keep a timer for 2 hours and play it within 14 days of purchase (for easy refunds).

Nice little game.
It is a bit reppetitive on the level design and the story is nothing special. Various skills and weapons to play around with.
Not many bugs, just a repeat dialogue every now and then.
Some characters seem like they are missing a story arc or use in the game.
Would say it is a fun game to pick up on a sale.

Cant recommend personally. The gunplay feels like a water gun fight, I'd say nerf, but I think even nerf guns have too much oomph to be comparable. Melee is fun enough but the formula of "hit a guy a few times then smack the execution button" gets old pretty fast. The story and dialogue are both also completely inept, uninteresting and full of typos which I assume are the result of a lazy translation. I could ignore story/dialogue and focus on the tight and satisfying gameplay IF the gameplay were either tight or satisfying. Similarly if the characters and story were interestingly written, I could push through the lackluster gameplay to follow along. CyberCorp misses on both.
To be honest CyberCorp didn't even hold my attention for an hour, after the first 3 or so missions I couldn't help but feel like I was wasting my time.
Similar games that I personally enjoy much more:
-The Ascent (similar cyberpunk setting and rpg elements, but with great combat and an engaging plot. The Ascent also makes MUCH better use of said cyberpunk setting)
-RUINER (less focus on story/exploration than The Ascent but with even tighter, more precise gameplay in a cyberpunk setting)
-Synthetik (Not a cyberpunk setting but has a similar retrofuturistic aesthetic, twin stick roguelike with some of THE most satisfying gunplay i've experienced)
EDIT: Take note many of the positive reviews JUST SO HAPPEN to also be marked with *Product recived for free* and have comments turned off

Solid looter so far
Feels mid when you start, but feels much better as you level up and gear/skills become more interesting
Skill is less important than gear/build
combat could use more response sound and visual cue-wise for a better feel
I wish player movement was faster, especially the dodge
Rather impressed with a $15 looter shooter to have such a fleshed out gear system

And this is after I hadn't bought ANYTHING the entire run from the shop, and had done barely any crafting stuff outside of that. Its just... Too much, at least in my opinion.

It's a poor copy of SYNTHETIK with looter-shooter elements and cringe writing. Ugh... I wish I didn't play this at all. Even 45 minutes was too much.

Boring piece of crap. No physics - all enemy are cardboard, no normal impact - all kinds of weapons feels like pneumatic toys, no own art style - they trying to copy past the Cyberpunk but they cant done even that.

I like the visuals. I like the pacing. The story is a story. The combat is satisfying. Sounds and music fit the atmosphere of the game. Overall a solid recommend. It definitely feels like a US$15 game, and if you get it on sale, you got it for a steal.
