This incredible piece of shit, feels worse, looks worse and is just as bullshit as the last. Don't buy this overpriced shit. There's a better chance of diddy being innocent than EA making a good game. At least the last two were fun to play when high :(

This game is actually amazing!
It gives you a really outer body experience. You literally set low expectations and buy it for the sake of just playing FIFA after missing out on so many years.. and your body simply reacts automatically after you play for about 15 mins.. it just reacts and leads you to the refund page! Truly amazing. An outer body experience!
EDIT: Bought the game right now for a discounted INR 200. So, I ended up buying it after a year for some casual multiplayer. Before the price drop, I paid close to around INR 1500 which is still cheap but you can easily buy a ps3/ps4 gen title for that money which would be more fun.
This is the most rigged video game of all time. The level of greed from EA. The lack of respect for the community. The lack of respect for the game of football. A video game, especially one where the grind means everything, should reward you with generous loot overtime: the more time you spend in the game, the more loot you get. Last FIFA I played was... 13 i think.
Gameplay wise it is similar. Players move better, however sometimes when I do a through pass, the player just stops running which is irritating.
Also defensive play can be weird (might be just me doing something wrong). Sometimes when I run with the ball and enemy wants to tackle me, they can teleport in order to get in the right distance. While when opponent runs with the ball and I tackle them, literally nothing happens, not even animation of the player being pushed. I'm treated as a weak gust of wind.
Other than that, I mainly play Ultimate team. You earn very little in-game money. When I watched some streamers (previous FIFAs though) spend thousands $, open dozens of packs and get nothing worth it... yeah, building team is hard.
Bug wise... gameplay seems fine, except the tackle thing. However I often get menu bugs - when switching tabs or after finish a match, the menus just don't load. I have background screen, music plays, I can open and close social menu, but nothing else.
When you start the game, the FC 25 logo is so pixelated that it's actually kinda sad. 360p image upscaled to 1440p resolution.
Also alt F4 works really well and fast.
this game genuinely gave me the worst experiences of my life. never played such a horrible and unlikable game ever, 5 hours of sweating my balls off just to get the worst rewards ever is not worth it. i lost some brain cells and my hair is slowly turning gray because of the gameplay, and i for sure decreased my lifespan by half. for your own sake dont play an ea game in your life

Even iPhone 16 got a bigger upgrade than the FC 25 but here are some things you should know before buying:
1, The game itself is not bad, better control, and no more feeling like you're skiing on grass.
2, Thousands of tiny, funny bugs, but it won't ruin your day.... mostly.
3, Surprisingly the Rush mode is pretty funny.
4, many new ideas for manager mode but the disgusting simplified UI is so bad to use (my opinion).
5, Prematch animation is back.
Unless you play UT mode, DON'T BUY THIS GAME NOW! There are so many bugs! Wait for Black Friday or Christmas—your wallet will THANK YOU. It's not worth paying full price just to fill EA's bottomless pit of greed!
The most trash game ever. Every single year, it's the same; in fact, it's worse. A lot of bugs and glitches—the ball is always bouncing from the defender to the opponent's striker. Marcus Thuram is a god, even though he can't touch the ball in real life. The CDM position is useless since the AI doesn't even follow the ball. EA surprises us with a masterpiece every freaking year. Amazing job, EA.

People who play online, pay for microtransactions, deal with cheaters and griefers and bots and whatever, and rage against the heavens with each new release.
And people who buy these games roughly once per console generation, only play offline in franchise mode (whatever form that takes in each game), and buy it mostly because it lets them play as their favorite IRL team—shout-out to anyone who's a diehard fan of a team that got promoted to League Two in England or 3.Liga in Germany in 2024-25 and finally gets to play as their team in-game. They generally play more casually and just love having that connection to their IRL favorite squad.
I'm in the latter camp. I have over a hundred hours and counting and got this game at a deep discount. I'm very happy with it. So I recommend it.
But if you're in the former camp...well, I don't know what to tell you. Maybe find a hobby—or at least a different game series or genre—that doesn't ruin your mental health. That can't be good for you.

I've been playing FIFA/EA FC for over 10 years and this game feels like the worst one ever. Animations are absolute fucking dogshit, DDA/Scripting in FUT makes it impossible to win more than two games in a row and don't even get me started about the laziness of the developers making this piece of fucking garbage since they just copied and paste EA FC 24 with a different name and even worse fucking gameplay. Every game 10 new different fucking bugs appear out of nowhere and don't even think about EA fixing those bugs; they simply don't give a flying fuck.
I'd rather get hooked to fentanyl, divorce my wife, lose my job and live under a fucking bridge than to ever buy an EA game ever again, especially EA FC.

I don't understand how you can develop the same game over and over again, and it just keeps getting worse. It didn't justify a single penny spent on it. Bugs, scripts, imbalance. Only bought this game because it was on a very large discount. And to be completely honest even if they gave this crap out for free it would still be way to expensive. I really enjoyed playing previous Fifa’s but this one is so bad that every second playing it felt like a never ending nightmare. It’s like they’re trying to make it **** every single year and I can’t wait to see how they‘ll manage to make it even worse the next year because I don’t think it’s even possible after this disaster.
This game is like, hmm how I put it: “I dreamt of playing for a club like Manchester United, and now here I am at My Village Football Club tingkat RW.”
