I loved Unpacking and I love this as well. Music and graphics are great, it's super chill and perfect for days where you want to play games but also just relax. I'll keep playing it, very curious to see how the story progresses, there seems to be a lot to unpack there..
Heheh.. Unpack.. get it? :p

I'm so sorry, but there was hardly any explanation at the start for me. trying to move around the room was a struggle. I don't know whether there was some issues, but I was finding it to be a boring game. I tried to get into it and if it's just this plant likes water, hates light, doesn't like this plant. This is not the game for me.
It might not be the case for others. But it wasn't for me. It was difficult to really navigate and then once I understood what to do, it was still a little like a limited game? This game was showing you do stuff with the room entirely and it kinda doesn't? You are having to fill the house with plants and hope you're putting them in the right place because if you don't. You ain't progressing to the next level.
It was a little tiring way too early. So I stopped. I know this might not be the best review, but maybe again, as I said, this isn't the game for me.

🌿 Urban Jungle – A Cozy Green Dream! 🌿
Hey everyone! Today, I’m diving into Urban Jungle, a super cute and relaxing game that’s perfect for plant lovers and fans of Unpacking! If you love decorating spaces and surrounding yourself with greenery, this game is an absolute gem. 🪴✨
The whole concept is simple but SO satisfying—you get to fill different rooms with plants, arranging them however you like to create your own little urban oasis. There’s something really calming about placing each plant just right, and watching your space come to life with vibrant greens and cozy vibes. 🌱💚
It definitely gives off that same chill, zen feeling as Unpacking, where there’s no rush, no pressure—just pure, soothing gameplay. Plus, the art style is adorable, and the color palette makes everything feel so warm and inviting.
Now, the only little hiccup is that there are a few small bugs here and there. Nothing game-breaking, just minor things that you might notice, but honestly? It doesn’t take away from the overall experience at all. I wouldn’t let that stop you from giving it a try because the game is still an absolute joy to play! 🌟
So if you’re looking for a game that lets you create your own peaceful plant-filled paradise, Urban Jungle is 100% worth checking out! Let me know if you’ve played it and what you think! 🌿

If i had the possibility to leave it as "Mixed" review i would, i didn't click with the game and that doesn't inherently make it a bad game.
Pros:
- love the art direction for the ingame graphics.
- I like the UI elements, with most of them being notepad/notebook related.
- As an artist myself, I liked the art style for the opening cutscene and the character portraits that appear during dialogue before each level.
Cons:
- Sometimes while clicking to proceed with dialogue it could accidentally skip it and skip dialogue option popups (that didn't really seem to affect the story overall).
- Music's a bit of a let down, loops don't last long.
- Speaking of the music, the game would stutter a bit whenever the track ended and a new one played (and this persisted with the game fully muted)
- Controlling the camera is clunky, so while trying to drag plants or furniture into spaces the game would also follow the camera and it would be very difficult to put stuff down in ideal places.

In Urban Jungle transform small urban apartments into sprawling luscious plant-scapes in this relaxing and wholesome puzzle game.

Settings, Features & Gameplay
Settings & features include; audio controls, language and display and resolution options. Each apartment is set in a different time period in the main character's life starting when she is a little girl at her Grandma’s house in 1996. This first location serves as the tutorial. The game mechanics are pretty easy and the tutorial does a wonderful job showing you how to play. The Visuals & Audio
The artwork in this game is hand-crafted, cozy goodness! A cartoon style full of color and little details that make the environments come alive. A lot of objects are interactive and can be moved around to fit your plants. Playing around in Creative mode… https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3448700484Things to Note
* Sometimes items will fall under a table or behind something so if you're trying to find something to finish a quest rotate the map to see the other side of objects and you should be able to find the dropped item. * When re-rolling for new plants keep in mind the rerolls cost more coins each roll and you can chew through them fast. I did not see a way to replay what chapters you want once the game is complete. I wish we could so we could farm coins. Some plants are super rare to spawn. * If you replay the game all the plants you’ve found stay unlocked in your journalOverall Experience
This game is very reminiscent of Unpacking. Some tasks include putting items away and unpacking boxes. Arranging plants are also some of the tasks and you gain xp by adding more plants that synergize together to make the most points until you have enough to reach the next chapter. Overall the game is fun with a very light narrative running through the chapters. The creative mode is nice, you can build a scene with an existing template or scrap everything and design it from the ground up. And not only plants unlock per chapter but furniture and decor too. Also the lamps and the humidifiers can be turned on with cute animations. 💚IndieGems wishes to thank Kylyk Games for providing a free review copy for this game.
