This game has landed itself in an odd spot. It's very hard to recommend for a few select reasons, but it is, overall, worth picking up. On sale. That's why this is currently something I can't recommend to most. First and foremost, this game should not be priced at 30$. Areas are far too empty, AI is far too basic, and overall balance is far too lacking. 20$ for this seems very fair. Anything more feels wrong. Despite all this, these flaws are immediately present, so you'll know quickly if you're willing to put up with them. From there, things depart into the realm of odd choices and fumbles in what could be very fun design choices. For extra context, I played the demo for a few hours and enjoyed it thoroughly. I gave feedback, and hoped to see some additions. I saw only one. Performance is notably better from the demo, which is, at the very least, nice. This game is, at times, better than STALKER. More often than not, though, it's worse. The reasons for this are rather expansive, so I'll try to focus on just a few. For starts...there's no quick save. This leads into other weird choices, but EVERY STALKER title not only allows save scumming, but encourages it. Why? Because the zone is a dangerous place, and one wrong step means death. That's part of the fun. The fact the games even have tips to frequently quick save just shows that the devs knew this and embraced it. This game does not have that feature, and it's purely to its detriment. There are enemies that will run you down and kill you in 2 hits, even with armor, and will take more than 30 shots from a 9MM pistol to kill. You can stumble off small paths and die for seemingly no reason. AI will sometimes miss whole magazines, then land nothing but headshots. There are anomalies I desperately want to throw my body into...but can't. Because I'll lose progress. Lots of it. And this is where I mention the two 'game modes'/respawn types. Extraction and load save. Extraction mode, also named 'Expedition' when not in the custom settings, is a very neat idea that is executed horrendously. It's like an extraction shooter in concept. You go get loot, and if you die, you drop most of it. You can then go back and get it. That sounds like a blast. Playing it sucks. Why? Because it doesn't reset your starting point when you go into a new area. This means that you will then respawn multiple zones away and have to hike back. This seems fine enough until you deal with this game's absolute lack of balance. You will enter the first area with your retained items, start running back, and immediately face a leshen that you cannot outrun, lack the ammo to kill, and will die to in 2 hits exactly. Not once, but thrice did I have this happen. Things like this make this mode simply wretched to play through. It's unfathomable risk for very little reward. You don't even respawn with any food meter, meaning you are SLOW. This mode borders on untenable. It's JUST slapping the player around. The 'load save' is simple and superior, if not annoying at times due to said simplicity. You enter an area, and if you die, you reload your save. Simple as. This means you lose all loot, and everything re-rolls, so if you found something amazing...it's gone now. That sucks. A lot. Yet it sucks a lot less than losing 2 hours of exploration because of utter BS. Now, looting and exploration are some of the biggest draws of STALKER games for me. I will sink countless hours exploring every inch of every game in general, and that's something that separates the wheat from the chaff. This is...a lot of chaff. Areas are large, but empty, with very little loot to find. It's realistic in the sense that you can walk through this massive forest and find nothing but enemies to waste ammo on. But this is a video game. If I wanted to find nothing, I'd go to a real forest. I do not enjoy spending 30 minutes searching every area only to find nothing. STALKER had stashes to help with this, and though they absolutely sucked in their loot, it was still something. But the forest zone is a truly prime example of this game's lack of reward for players that want to explore. Your time is not valued. It is not rewarded at all, let alone adequately more often than not. Then we have the looting of corpses. It fails in almost the exact same way that STALKER eternally peeved me. Enemies with infinite ammo drop very little more often than not. However, this game blessedly has no durability system, so you are rewarded better for even low tier weapons. This is a fantastic choice that eases the sting of an enemy dropping only a pistol. There is also the matter of the 'natural' looting, where you don't pillage their bodies, but pick up what they physically drop. This is both enjoyable and annoying. Items tend to get flung around a lot since enemies spam grenades like drawing breath. There is a system that lets you see 'Nearby loot', but it doesn't work if said loot is under bodies. Not sure if that's a bug or by design. This also applies to when items are under something like a train track, so...I assume bug. Even if you're right on it, it doesn't show. Parts of this game appeal to me just right, but others cannot stop leaving my skin raw. The trading system adds nice RNG to loot, the lack of durability lets you sell weapons for mostly fair prices, but those very same prices often make no sense. 5$ for a molotov cocktail? Alcohol alone would cost triple that. They can't manufacture that in the zone with ease. Booze would be like gold anywhere like this. The pricing makes no sense. Why is my recoil-less launcher worth less than a rifle with no attachments you get on the first map? This economy is wild. This game has charm. It attempts to add to a genre that is so very lacking, and I love that. But it stumbles in areas both odd and impressive. It ignores key parts of the genre itself while almost solving key issues that have always plagued it. But, in the end, it's just not ready.

This game uses pronouns and "genders" characters by using FEM(inine) and MASC(uline) instead of Female and Male. By the fact that it tells you the pronouns of its characters and identifies Female as Feminine and Male as Masculine, that is a red flag and a hallmark of a potentially bad game and a sign of things to come. Things like this are indications of bad writing or content one does not want in a product meant for escapism. Simply for being there that means that at any time your purchase can be made unenjoyable in the future should the developers decide they want more of this type of content in their game. This would put you in a position where you cannot refund the game for being made unenjoyable because you have more than 2 hours of playtime or because your 2 week refund window has passed. A inferior EA version of STALKER Anomaly or GAMMA for 30$ instead of free. The artstyle is "unreal asset store". You play as muslim pronoun furries running around a large empty map shooting at other furries. No playable humans despite them existing in game in robot bodies. Gameplay consists of wandering around the empty unreal asset store world pressing E on obvious loot containers to find a bunch of lame loot while doing quests that are also lame and boring and do nothing to immerse you in the world such as "find me a wrench" or "go to this endgame area and find me a super wrench". Your character has no impact on the world personally. There are six selectable pre-set characters currently, the character you pick has no impact on anything besides the perks you get and starting gear, so not sure why they even exist when the perks could just be delegated to the character maker. Enemy AI is fine, thats about all I can praise the game for. Enemy variety however is horrible, as everything is a furry oc there's no way to tell what's dangerous or not. A random mech zombie covered in metal walking around? Dies to 1 melee hit. A random naked wendigo walking around that's no more menacing or bigger than anyone else? Takes 10 shotgun shells to the head to kill and will 2 shot you. Also came across a cerberus dog that was voiced by the dev making weird noises, gross. Either way, there's nothing worth 30$ dollars in here, I understand the dev probably spent a lot on asset packs to make this but this is worth 10$ max at its current state when you can get what it's ripping off for free. Wait until the game actually has a point or meaning to it and you'll also probably be able to snag it for a reasonable price.

This game is not worth 30 dollars once the 16% sale ends which they want 25 dollars for, and there's hardly any difference between the 30 dollar "demo" and the free demo aside from probably adding retarded ass gender politics (lizard people pronouns) and retarded ass political extremism like some of the randomized description regards to retarded shit related to said political extremism. But of you have money to spare that could be like gas or grocery money, go for it. Role play as a postal dude and just dispatch blokes in zone since its fair game. but respecc market zones/safe zone (crimge) but if youre smart enough don't buy fan fics of STALKER-like games

softlocked the game twice on the tutorial then managed to jump out of bounds in the same tutorial then proceeded to kill all the npc in the started area jumped across a door that was not ment to be jumped across entered a tunnel with creeps in it turned around left the tunnel all npcs respawned lmao what a game normally i guess u would say its EA and let them cook but.... worst part is these devs have footage from over 1 year ago and this is what they cooked up BIG OOOOOF! great example when u ask youtubers and discord "yes man" for info. u end up with a game like this.

I was itching for some newer fallout / stalker (without having to play the recent iterations of those games which are beans) and this does it. It's semi open world but it shouldn't bother anyone familiar with Stalker. It's good fun and I guess I'm a furry now.

Absolutely fire game. This is THE most fun early access game I've ever played and it is definitely my favorite game right now. Has so much love and care and content and there's still so much more that is left to be added. I have 80 hours on the demo and 260 hours on the playtest version. Basically, this game is imsim stalker but with lizards and without the pain and suffering of the stalker series. There are so many things I love about this game, not to mention that the developer (yes, this game was mostly made by one person) is very communicative and open to feedback. I cannot recommend it enough. It does basically everything well, giving you lots of control over how you play and how difficult your experience is. If you enjoyed stalker, you will enjoy this.

Fantastic game. I will no doubt be sinking many more hours into it. However, I must give a word of warning: If you are like me, and enjoy a tidy workspace, you must simply stomach the fact that the Broker's lantern will forever be rolling around on the floor of their office. Should you attempt to return it to their desk, like a good little flunky, and drop it slightly too hard, it will explode and light the marketeer on fire, promptly killing them and getting you shot in the back of the head by your rightly-annoyed fellow freelancers. The Broker does not respawn. Very good game.

If you ever played Stalker and wished instead of killing abominations to humanity (ukranians) you could kill furry abominations to humanity then this is your jazz. It's Stalker anomaly but for furries and trans folx... which i guess makes it a worthy spiritual successor.

dat darn scalie reight theah had done cooked up a good one yet agayain /Spit-Can-Ting/ i swears, them lizards are up to somethin' and somthin' good does pretty darn tootn' shweel shindiggidy shwhat ACADA diyad to Valve's Half-Life 2 & Episodes but twuh GSC Game Word's titular and titilacious S.T.A.L.K.E.R. in nearly 'rry single whey Thems expectin' Furry Slop gonna get their gf's eggies deeper in their pooshoot, guarenteed Thems expectin' a Hard-Core FPS Survival Horror experience gonna be copypastn' the second line of my review by hour 2, ezypzy Thems needin' moar The Zone - Open World Post Apoc/Paranormal First Person Survival and Faction Interplay - be peepin' what the previous peeps gonna be sayin' Wild Gripe, but not really one, is the fact this game, not dislike Pete Heggy who's too drunk to hit any shots, you got no hands. Your gun just floats there. But not dissimilar to 'literacy' allows us animals to 'fill in the gaps' - adding immersion while sublimating dev cost and thyme. Unsure how I feel about Unity with the Corpos and Antiquated Nature of the engine, however their previous work 'nailed' the ascetic with a perfect bit of 'Pencil Drake' special sawuce that made it its own and its application to this is more of that and less of LoZ WW levels of Astetisism. That said, Penny knows the engine like I know my bongs and my schlong so forgiveness is given by the super jet-liner load. Compliments to the Perk System and Class Creation - Actual Character Creation does beg for more fine tuning, but the perks and the system around them absolutely evolve and elevate replay ability and streamer antics generation. Much like now I play STALKER, I'm still unraveling the story. The 'Furry Justification' works, not an untread path, but I'm still discovering the bits and pieces. Dialog and Trading work super nice and the peeps haven't been that thaat cringe yet (yet) Yes, The Zone is indeed Alive, watching factions interplay with environmental anomalies and wild mutants. Its All There, Man. Escaped a gunfight by my opponents getting mobbed by mutants then the fugly bastards getting lost in an urban anomaly field as I plussed the nuts on their corpses and then onto the trader. With Pendrake around makin' games... The Scene's about to get Siris Glorious Big Heavy Clouds from my Bong of Dreams Highly Recommends Project Silverfish to Action and Survival fans 8.420 / 10

It's Furry Anomaly. It's great, you should try it if you enjoy playing Anomaly and the Stalker games. It is NOT an extraction shooter, it's Stalker-like exploration and combat.

Threw my only molotov at a campfire to see if it would light it. It did, and I felt so clever until I looked in a box 2m to my left and found a lighter. 10/10

It has great potential, but please get rid of RNG lockpicking. I shouldn't break 20 lockpicks trying to open one door and then reload the game and open it first try.

This is a nice survival game with various customization and difficulty choice for the player, the only wish i have while it is in a form of early access, is Online Co-op for like up to four players as a function, so we can play with friends to further expand our characters lore and customization, and possibly pvp each other if need be as part of the role play on the factions we joined, to collect their gear for your base or to trade it back to them in exchange for something else, to use as another example with it toggled off and optional for the players. to have it be interesting. much love for this game, and hope it soars high for the future.
