We've fixed a lot of bugs since release and the game is now playable without any problems (of course, something may not be clear on the playthrough, but we've also added some hints). We'd love for you to play our game again and enjoy it! This is a lie. I'm stuck. Less than a half hour in and I can't progress any farther due to a bug, that according to the discussions page, has been an issue from the beginning. From what I've read, and experienced, this game is nowhere near ready to be sold. The developers don't seem to want to fix anything, so it's a waste of money.

It was fun for the first 5 minutes and then the game soft locked and wouldn’t let me progress. Bugs can be acceptable in a new game but not something so game breaking early on. Game might be fun but I’ve never returned something so fast especially after dealing with the Discord server

Summer For You is a sandbox-style visual novel with dating simulator elements, with an appealing visual style reminiscent of a comic book. In it, you control a 21-year-old virgin who receives a strange stone as a gift from his parents, which summons a hot demon named Arlecchino, who plans to turn the young man into her slave unless he loses his virginity in less than "two weeks", so he has to hurry to get a makeover and start winning over girls to achieve his goal.

The main theme of this visual novel is not original at all, because despite the introduction where the protagonist summons a demon that forces him to lose his virginity or become its slave, it is not really that different from other dating sims, because at the end of the day, the goal is the same: to look for potential girls that the protagonist can make them fall in love with and have sex with. The heroines that the protagonist tries to conquer are five, three main and two secondary, which, although not many, fulfill the most common types such as Naomi a hot busty teacher, Misha an outgoing young foreign girl, Samantha a somewhat clumsy married woman, Arlecchino a "bullyable" demon with huge tits and Alicia a busty red-haired MILF. Each of these girls has its own route and ending where the protagonist gets to know them better, has dates, events, carnal encounters, etc. As such, each story is not very long, but it does its job of making you feel like you are really conquering someone. These same mini-games are also what give this title more playable variety, there are puzzles, match 2, trivia, logic, catching dark essences, cleaning, etc. These are not very complicated, so it is quite difficult to fail in them, so they do not end up being a challenge, but they do serve to feel some "immersion" in the story that the game is telling you. Another of the main gameplay mechanics is the typical visual novel decision making. In this title, it is mainly used for the player to answer different questions asked by the heroines, and depending on their answers, they can unlock "hidden" content such as erotic selfies or spicy wallpapers.

This game has a total of 9 animated sex scenes, 5 spicy selfies and 4 fairly erotic pictures. Seeing this, it is easy to deduce that the game as such does not have much erotic content compared to other titles with a similar price to the 9 dollars of this one. Although the quality of the art of all the sexual content is good, so it can be justified to a certain extent. As for the sex scenes, they have a "comic" style, with boxes for the expressions of the heroine when receiving pleasure, as well as for the dialogues, so they are quite visually appealing, the animations look fluid, although simple due to the limited range of movement they have, which is not very noticeable during the story scenes, but when you look at them again in the gallery you will notice that the movement is very weak. All in all, Summer For You is a decent visual novel. Its story is not very original, its characters are not realistic or memorable, its playable variety is interesting, but its sexual content and visuals are very good and stand out from other titles in the same genre. Speaking of specific things, I like that the game lets you choose the route you want to follow from the beginning, letting you advance through the one of the girl you are most attracted to, being able to advance the "time" to complete the tasks of her series of events without having to wait or advance in the other routes that don't attract you, although at the same time this takes away the immersion of the game, making everything more mechanical. As for the sexual content, I would have liked to see more, since only two animated scenes for each main girl and one for each secondary girl doesn't leave you satisfied, especially since the design of the heroines is extremely attractive/erotic, making you want to throw yourself into steamy situations. In addition, the scenes are not as erotic as they could be due to the lack of good sound effects or voice acting. Last but not least, while playing this game I came across a couple of bugs, although not many, some of them can break the game and make it impossible to continue playing. An example of this would be the mission system, which sometimes does not recognize when you complete one of these, leaving you stuck on that mission without completing it, ruining a route and having to start a new game or load a previous game. this bug (if you have one or find one, as they only record the date but not the time, making it difficult to know which is the most recent or which is the right one). This game is not finished, would not purchase the game as it is now give it a couple weeks to a month and see then. I ran around the entire map looking for things to do, i had to change the time of day for someone to text me and i could not find anyone or progress after that.

I don't expect much after an hour of playing, so let's say this recommendation is in advance. The story, the sound work, the artworks and the UI design - fantastic, 10/10. It's a classic anime style, it's pretty, it's bold and colorful, and the animations are something to enjoy in your time alone, if you know what I mean. Gameplay wise, - I only got to pop some bubbles and get rid of the clowness' clothes, but it's fun and relatively short, doesn't require much skill. And you're not here to practice your casual abilities, I hope. I also got to meet the teacher and the baker girls - their mini games are also fun and pretty fast. I've yet to seduce all of them. I also want to add that I LOVE the plot of the story. It hooks you up from the get go and wants you to play longer and longer. Like, you really want the boy to succeed and not get into Hell, even if it's just a sex Hell. He's 21, let him enjoy life! Again, I understand that it's the first hour of this game being released, but I seriously would love to escape major bugs like characters not spawning and such. It's the core of the game, it should be somewhat playable. The objectives are listed under the icon which you need to press in order to see them, I also would love the needed locations to be highlighted, as well as the map when you need to change said location to progress. Maybe it's also a bug and it will be fixed - I don't know. We'll see. I hope the bug fixes are in the process, because I can't progress through the game AND I'M VERY INVESTED IN THE STORY NOW😔
