Excellent however it might just be way too scary for me. An element just went way too far and I would have liked to have been warned. Spoilering it for your safety: You live in Omaha Nebraska

Really boring - i missed half of the jump scares as i am not a professional typist, so i occasionally look at my keyboard whilst typing. I hear a creepy noise, look up and its already gone.... whatever it was.

I bought this game based on the rancid vibes it gave off and was not disappointed. An experience that left me anxious enough that I had to take my corporate mandated single break.

The parts where you need to type the stuff in app caps or else it erases everything is fucking annoying. Its not scary, its irritating and frustrating. You cant add frustrating elements to a game thats seemingly designed for horror. The lighting sucks so you cant see some things.

In a situation where you need to pause? This game is NOT for you. I'm currently sitting watch at my mother's death bed and needed something to distract me. I inexplicably picked this super creepy typing game to pass the time. I was trying for the "Sunshine" ending (I needed SOMETHING good to happen), but there were two situations that came up with my mom and the nurses when I really needed to be able to pause the game so I could get up and help. But the game wouldn't let me. My only option was to sit my computer down and just let it run while I took care of business. So, I lost hours of progress right at the end of the story arc and ended up with one of the unhappy endings, and I was so devastated I just sat and cried. So. Obviously a very niche situation and not one that everyone is going to share. But if you have something going on in life, skip this game until things calm down. I have permanent "bad taste in mouth" from this game now and unfortunately will never pick it up again.

I would highly recommend. Not only is it a good horror game (and I mean a horror game that isn't just jump scares but proper atmosphere.), but oddly enough helps with typing speed.

Artstyle is abolute awsome. Sound design too. It sounds like your in Silent Hill trapped.
BUT
My biggest problem was the writing the text, i hought horror in the "some one is waiting in the dark" not "i dare you to write some letters"
Would have been nice if you click on the yellow text and copy it. Write it down was.....annyoing.
If thats not your problem buy it. The atmo is 10/10 but writing text over and over...meh

Given how well reviewed the game is, I feel I must be missing something because I cannot see this as anything but generic horror tropes piled onto an irrelevant and dull minigame. It's just "do minigame which requires you to stare closely at screen whilst generic spooky stuff happens around you" that has been around since the original FNaF. The dead letters are dull and repetitive with such little influence on the horror by themselves to the extent you could call this game "spot the difference" and make it about clicking differences on two similar images and the horror experience would be identical.
I imagined this as something with a slow-burn story told through dead letters which you would read in full , perhaps uncovering the trail of a serial killer who is sending dead letters as a form of confessional for each crime. Perhaps after a short while they realise you are reading them, and begins to take interest in you. The horror and tension rise up through paranoia from the feeling of being stalked by a serial killer whilst they continue to send increasingly disturbing and vivid letters indirectly to you.
But no, just "spooky stuff happens whilst you look closely at your monitor" game number 5930.

Towards the end of the game, it crashed. I suspect it was intended based on the story at the time. This crash seemed to mess with my PC. Right as the crash happened, it blacked out all my monitors, while taking no input. Upon forcibly restarting, my steam launcher was corrupted. The steam repair tool didn't work. So after multiple restarts, plus other random attempts to get steam working, I just had to reinstall steam. I have a lot of settings with recording/cloud streaming configs/file locations that I needed to re-setup after. Took about 1–2 hours of troubleshooting/setup to get everything back to working order. The game itself seems to be around 2 hours.
Never had any issues like this with other games or programs. Seems to be specific to me since I can't find anyone else having the same problem. Nonetheless, it did happen.
Apparently, if I boot the game up, it'll show an ending. I'm not going to risk having another problem with what is a mid-tier horror game that, to its credit, is original with its gameplay.

Gotta imagine this all takes place in the Evri offices. Would finally make sense why they are so uniquely terrible at delivering parcels, because they're all secretly little spider gremlin men with crunchy cheeto fingers communing with the devil to sort through packages that they themselves lost by leaving them in the local Sainsbury's dumpster, sending you a blurry picture and then ticking the delivery as done.
